My mom Sharon Glass’s passion for cooking began with a simple but powerful desire to feed others and make them feel at home. Through her food, she built more than a career – she created a legacy of love, generosity, and unforgettable flavours. I was incredibly lucky to learn from her, because her creativity and warmth touched so many lives. Did you know that before the cookbooks, TV shows and cooking school, my mom ran a thriving catering business that brought people together over delicious, homemade meals?

Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy forward with my Johannesburg based company, Plated & Co. It’s a catering and events company that is inspired by everything she stood for: excellent service; heartfelt, home-style cooking, and uncompromising quality.
